Artisanal Block Printing Creations

These projects highlight artisanal creations, featuring block printed illustrations inspired by cowboy boots and other botanical & nature inspired things. The images capture the craftsmanship and artistry of block printing, with a focus on unique and handcrafted pieces to create beautiful one of a kind art prints, and textiles. Hand carved block printing is a textile printing technique where a design is carved into a block (often wood) or a soft, latex-free, eraser-like material. I use botanical paints that I create and it is then applied to the raised areas, and the block is pressed onto fabric or paper to create a printed design or pattern.
